Uranium City Winery and Treasures is a full production craft winery with a tasting room and gift shop right on both historic Route 66 and the Santa Fe Railroad in Grants NM. In the 1950s uranium was discovered in the nearby mountains and the boom began and lasted through 1985. Grants was known as the Uranium Capital of the world and played a key role in the history of nuclear energy. This business is located across Route 66 from the winery and has two driveway entries, one on High Street and one on Silver Street.
