While the orchards are off-limits for impromptu strolls to maintain the delicate balance of farm operations, those with a yearning to pluck nature's candy can join in during designated U-Pick hours. Generous with amenities, you're welcome to unfold your awning, sizzle a steak on the grill, and let your generator hum through the night. At the end of our lane there is a large Kauffman Orchards "UPick Entrance" sign. If you see a "Upick Closed" sign, disregard it -- it only indicates that picking is closed. Proceed onto our 1/4 mile private lane until you arrive at our homestead and farm buildings. Look for an animal pasture and a "Harvest Host" sign on the west side of the pasture directing you to the parking sites. If all four of the sites are full, you can use the overflow parking area in the grass on the other side of the paved drive. If you come at a time when the ground is soft (mostly late fall or early spring) we may ask you to use an alternate parking spot so that your RV doesn't damage the ground. A large tree stands at the entrance to the grass parking area, so please watch for low-hanging branches and enter with caution.
