So far, 5190 locations have opened their hearts and their homes and/or businesses to members of the Harvest Hosts RVing community. Through this program, members receive overnight accommodations with no camping fees in unique and interesting places across North America. The History

Take 16 Brewing Company is located along the historic US Highway 16. Back in the early 1920s, this highway connected Detroit to Yellowstone National Park. The highway is now retired due to Interstate 90, but the old dirt roads are still used by locals. Take 16 is named after the historic highway and is also situated along it in downtown Luverne, Minnesota. While new to the Harvest Hosts program, they are not new to beer. Luke, the brewer, has been brewing beer since college and founded Heist Brewing before brewing for Take 16. Take 16 Brewing Company is an awesome Harvest Hosts brewery location.

The Business Today

Take 16 is a popular spot in the downtown Luverne scene. This brewery is situated near a plethora of restaurants. Visitors love to grab food and then enjoy it with a beer on Take 16’s patio. They keep ten beers on tap and one root beer, which is fun for the kids. Their brews have a good mix of light and dark beers to serve all palates. They even serve a Cöffee Kölsch, which is produced with local coffee from 4wrd Coffee. Take 16 strives to use local ingredients whenever possible.Visitors wishing to keep their distance can order beer online that is brought out to be enjoyed on the patio. In addition to beer sales, visitors can also purchase Take 16 merchandise like ball caps. For locals, they offer a Mug Club. Joining Harvest Hosts

Take 16 joined Harvest Hosts in 2020. Despite being located downtown, they have a large parking lot with ample space for RVs. After business hours, they are very quiet, even though they are located right in town. There can be a little regular traffic, so take that into consideration when departing. They have one pet-friendly, reservable space for RVs under 44’. They also offer free WiFi. Take 16 Brewing Company is an awesome Harvest Hosts brewery location. Take 16 Brewing Company is a local favorite in Luverne, Minnesota. Staying with Harvest Hosts like Take 16 is the perfect way to turn an average overnight stay into a memorable experience.
