Near Lake Erie

Pennsylvania borders one of the Great Lakes, Lake Erie, making way for a variety of popular water sports and activities in the area. Because of their vastness, many folks are surprised by how closely the Great Lakes resemble an ocean. Lakeview Wine Cellars - North East, PA

Lakeview Wine Cellars began as a retirement dream for the owners, the Bests, in 2008. Since then, it has flourished into a favorite winery among the area's locals and vacation-goers alike. Presque Isle Wine Cellars - North East, PA

Presque Isle Wine Cellars began in 1964 by supplying grapes and wine making equipment for local amateur winemakers. They always had the goal of producing their own wines, though. As soon as Pennsylvania law permitted wineries to sell their own wine on-site through the Limited Winery Act of 1968, the winery officially began, and today, they produce about 27,000-30,000 gallons of wine annually! Janoski's Farm, Greenhouse & Arrowhead Wine Cellars - Clinton, PA

This local-favorite farm is situated on 200 acres of farmland. They offer a year-round farm market with a bakery and a seasonal greenhouse and garden center. They also have a wine cellar that features wines from local Arrowhead Wine Cellars vineyard. Guests can also check out their events throughout the year, including their famous Pumpkinland. Northern Pennsylvania

Harrisburg is the capital of Pennsylvania, but has a small-town feel to it. There are many gems hidden throughout the town. Nearby Hershey is famous for producing Hershey’s chocolates and is home to Hersheypark, a theme park. Lancaster

Lancaster is home of the Pennsylvania Dutch. It’s also home to America’s oldest Amish settlement, which is what the town is famous for. It’s not uncommon to see a horse-drawn buggy riding alongside cars when passing through.

The Country Barn & Market - Lancaster, PA

This eighty-two-acre farm has an on-site market selling produce and baked goods, as well as a family-friendly section called Barnyard Kingdom, which demonstrates how fun farming can be. First opened in the spring of 2017 by four friends, this brewery currently serves thirteen different brews and casual food offerings.
