As the weather begins to warm up, more families, couples, individuals, and groups of friends than ever are hitting the road in their RVs. Harvest Hosts makes getting to the destination that much more fun (or is oftentimes the destination!). Last month, we covered all of the Harvest Hosts locations in Eastern Kentucky. Boundary Oak Distillery - Radcliff, KY

Bourbon and Kentucky are two words that have gone hand-in-hand for hundreds of years, and, for Boundary Oak Distillery owner Brent, the tradition of bourbon goes back for generations. The National Quilt Museum - Paducah, KY

This interesting stop showcases quilts as artwork, and they are committed to "Honoring Today's Quilter," with a rotating display of pieces throughout the year. The Bard Distillery - Graham, KY

Located in Muhlenberg County, this craft brewery is a local favorite. Today, the business is located within a renovated historic school, and they offer a variety of spirits, including flavored whiskey. Trunnell's Family Fun Acre & Farm Market - Utica, KY

Located just outside of Owensboro, the fourth largest town in Kentucky, this roadside stand is not to be missed. What began in 1990 as a single acre of corn, is now the locals' favorite place to purchase sweet corn, other produce, and delicious goodies. Reid's Livery Winery - Alvaton, KY

Just outside of Bowling Green, Members can find Reid’s Livery Winery. Specializing in berry and grape wines, owner Rex grows all of his own fruit and produces his own wines. This Harvest Hosts location offers two reservable, pet-friendly spaces for RVs under twenty-nine feet in length. JD Country Milk - Russellville, KY

This dairy farm produces and bottles their milk on-site - talk about fresh! They offer milk, chocolate milk, cream, eggs, seasonal eggnog, and drinkable yogurt for purchase. Carriage House Vineyards - Auburn, KY

Carriage House Vineyards currently has over 1900 vines growing across three acres, and they produce and sell sixteen different wine varieties, including several fruit wines. Alive N' Fuzzy Alpaca Farm -  Bowling Green, KY

This newer Harvest Hosts location has been a hit. Here, travelers can unwind from their journey by learning about or petting alpacas. For an additional fee, visitors can have an alpaca join them on a walk! Harvest Hosts Members can support this Host by purchasing a walk, making an alpaca-product purchase, or buying some farm-fresh eggs. Insider tip: be sure to visit in the spring for the best chance of viewing a baby alpaca (called a cria). They offer two reservable, pet-friendly spaces for RVs under forty-four feet in length. Please note that pets must be leashed at all times at this location. Dueling Grounds Distillery - Franklin, KY

Dueling Grounds Distillery is named after a nearby historic patch of grass where pistol duels once took place. Visitors can enjoy their varieties of liquors, a tour, or even incredible chocolate truffles. Founded in 2014 with only ten acres, this winery is now up to thirty acres of vineyards! Today, they offer tastings and winemaking tours of their incredible property, and they have even expanded to include a bed and breakfast, as well. Casey Jones Distillery - Hopkinsville, KY

This distillery is owned by Arlon Casey Jones, grandson to the famous stillmaker, Casey Jones. Today, AJ uses recipes that have been passed down through the family for generations to create his spirits, and they currently offer a variety of bourbons and moonshines. Kentucky Railway Museum - New Haven, KY

The Kentucky Railway Museum first opened in the 1950s, and, over time, they continued expanding their property and acquiring more donated locomotives to create the successful non-profit that visitors find today. Here, guests can enjoy a scenic train ride or experience a train robbery reenactment for additional fun, with exciting seasonal events available throughout the year as well. Couple Derrick and Deserea Huff began their vineyard in 2018, and every year they continue to add more vines to their boutique winery. They currently produce eleven types of wine to suit any palette.
