About
Unwind in the heart of scenic North Central Florida where the charm of generational farming meets the adventure of RV camping. Experience the serene tranquility of country life at our family-owned working farm that has been cultivated with passion and pride across four generations. This idyllic destination is not only a testament to agricultural heritage but also a perfect slice of countryside to park your RV and relax amidst nature. Roll your home-on-wheels onto spacious fields that have nurtured crops for years, and wake to the soothing rustle of hay in the morning breeze. Discover the simplistic beauty of farmland stretching out like a lush green carpet, highlighted by rows of specialty sod that add uniqueness to our landscape. As you set up camp, the open skies above beckon stargazers, while the nearby fields are a constant reminder of the enduring tradition of farming. During your stay, learn about the art of haymaking and sod cultivation from a family deeply rooted in these practices. Embrace the opportunity to connect with the soil and gain insights into daily farm operations. Whether you're looking to soak up the peaceful farm atmosphere or keen on exploring the surrounding area, our site serves as an ideal base for those who appreciate the pastoral lifestyle. RV camping enthusiasts seeking a tranquil getaway will find our farm a delightful retreat. Enjoy the spaciousness needed for your RV, along with the hospitable warmth that only a family-run farm can offer. Come, park under the North Central Florida sky, and let the whisper of the fields lull you into relaxation at this cherished agricultural haven.

Items for Purchase
No farm store, just peace & quiet, rolling hills and beautiful sunsets. However, HH-suggested donation for first night is appreciated and feel free to inquire with us about staying additional nights at a rate of $20/night. It can be left in the white donation box onsite or digitally via Venmo to @Jenny_Lloyd, or Zelle using 386-867-5566 per the suggestion of many of our wonderful guests, as well as the Harvest Host organization. The donations are used to keep the HH parking location managed (routinely mowed and limbs picked up, etc). Generators allowed. Our farm product (hay) is sold from our barns to feed stores, horse barns, cattle ranches, and dairies to feed horses, beef cattle, dairy cattle, and goats around central & south Florida, as well as exported to the islands. (Think of us the next time you eat a juicy steak, delicious hamburger, or a big bowl of ice cream!)
Parking & Arrival
Address: 8131 200th St, McAlpin, FL 32062. Make sure you use this address. Our farm consists of two locations: the Harvest Host location is this one. Emphasize: use the above address (otherwise you'll have to turn around and backtrack three miles to the correct location). Turn into the property at “Haystack 2” driveway and park under or near any of the trees along the driveway on the right hand side. The spots are under large laurel oak trees with tall limbs. (Plenty of shade and wide open spaces - see profile pictures). No need to unhook, unless you prefer to. Sometimes during April/May and September/October our roads may get dusty from no rain. Also during that time the irrigation units run. If you see picnic tables, they are not anchored so feel free to move them around to whatever direction suits you. Text us when you're settled at 386-867-5566. No store, just peace & quiet, rolling hills and beautiful sunsets. It can be left in the white donation box onsite, or digitally via Venmo to @Jenny_Lloyd, or Zelle using 386-867-5566. Generators are allowed if needed. Our Harvest Host location is about seven acres so there is about one acre per HH spot. Plenty of space between spots to avoid hearing a neighboring generator if that is a concern.
