About
As the golden hues of dawn break over the high crests of Georgia, imagine waking amidst the soothing ambiance of the Loblolly forest, the tallest pine trees standing guard as nature's sentinels. This serene retreat offers a pine-scented sanctuary for RV camping enthusiasts looking for more than just a stopover; it's a foray into the heartland of natural bounty and historical lineage. Set against the backdrop of the Little Satilla River Basin, this location invites RV adventurers to an immersive farm experience. Embrace the unique chance to camp within a living legacy, standing on lands lovingly reclaimed from the wild and held by descendants of pre-Colonial and Revolutionary War patriots. Generations of farming wisdom pulse through the soil, nurturing a thriving pecan orchard where tress boughs are heavy with the promise of a hearty harvest from October to December. Embodying the spirit of Harvest Hosts, RV travelers can partake in the fruits of the land, both metaphorically and literally. Indulge your palate with fresh, shell-bound pecansa staple of the South or better still, treat yourself to decadent pecan pies, meticulously crafted upon request. The seasonal offerings extend beyond these nutty treasures; local honey, organic olive oils, and other homemade preserves beckon with their homespun allure. Those who connect with the earth will find solace here; this is not your typical RV park. This host encourages you to step barefoot upon the greenschist-rich ground, recharging your spirit and shedding the stress of daily life. With three professional-grade 30/50 amp RV hook-up connections nestled under the canopy of 50-year-old pines, the practical amenities ensure comfort within this rustic escape. Animal lovers will revel in the company of canine companions, freely roaming under the watchful eyes of their owners, and the grace of Tennessee Walkers, Ginger Snap, and Midnight Centauri, which animate the pastures. This is a welcoming space where the laughter and warmth amongst friends transcend the typical camping experience, where potluck gatherings and clear night skies create unforgettable memories under the cosmic theatre of the heavens. Do take note, the care for the environment here is paramount; dry camping is thoughtfully organized to minimize wear on the land, and efforts to preserve the pristine condition of the forests and fields are respected with clear guidelines. When venturing to this high-energy oasis, the journey is part of the magic. Meander down Scenic Drive, where pastoral views open the passage towards an enclave that supports the RV lifestyle with the soul of Southern hospitality. Whether you seek a night's respite or a deeper connection with nature and history, the calling of the wild awaits at this Georgian pecan haven, where RV camping converges with the gentle whispers of the woods.

House Rules
Watch where you walk. We have every Southern snake imaginable, but so far this year, we have only seen one rat snake. Rattlesnakes can strike 2/3rds the length of their bodies. Do not kill any wild life including snakes. If you have an issue, best stay elsewhere. If a poisonous snake is found and cannot be relocated safely, the owner will discharge the creature at her own discretion. Horses are located on the property. They are nibblers and can take off a finger or thumb. You may feed carrots or apples cut up and placed in their easily accessible food bins. If you are a seasoned equestrian and want to ride, (at your own risk) please see owner. If you travel with your horse, please call direct to discuss pasturing or a stall. (We are in the process of building a barn on high ground with turn out.)
