As we started traveling more after hosting over 60 families we had to decide whether to stop hosting or create an area that the majority of the time would be Self Serve . We decided that we didn't want to have to tell anyone that needs a safe place to stay that we couldn't help them so many times there won't be anyone to greet you. Tennessee river for Fishing, Boating, and swimming ,Richard Martin Trail, Alabama Veterans Museum, Madison Bowling Center, Sci-Quest hands on science center, Marina ,Old Decatur Historic District ,Carnegie Visual Arts Center, U.S. Space and Rocket Center, Cooks Natural Science Museum, Breweries and distilleries etc. are all within 20 or so miles.
