About
Enjoy a forest neighborhood stay with an ocean view. Vans or short RVs preferred as our drive way is steep and can scrape the bottom of your rig** This is a spot in our front yard, we do our best to keep your stay as peaceful as possible however there might be some noise. You can back in or park in straight, however you'd like to be in the designated area. The beach is just a 6-minute drive away and our quaint town has several places to eat and things to do.* *Just a heads up, our home is not walkable to the beach, and biking there is difficult due to the steep hills even with an electric bike. When heading west from the 101, use low gears as we have steep grades. Take lots of breaks to save your brakes! If you want to drive like a local, safely pull over to the side for people driving up behind you. Since our roads have lots of curves, there is no section safe for cars to drive around. Reach out for any suggestions. This is also a great place to go with the flow and see what you discover. :) Stores • The General Store • Arts at Heart - Art and souvenirs • RV Campground & Deli Restaurants • Mimochima - Delicious Venezuelan sit down restaurant with an epic view of the ocean. • Gyppo - A brewery and American style restaurant with foosball, ping pong and an amazing view of the airstrip and ocean. • Surf Point Coffee House - Free Wi-Fi, amazing oceanfront view and all food is made from scratch. • RV Campground & Deli • Delgada Pizza • Mario’s Bar - 21+, the patio has best view of the sunset (in my opinion). They offer a variety of food pop ups like Sushi, Mediterranean, Mexican and more. • Black Sands Bistro - Italian Style food Mario’s and Gyppo’s frequently have live music FOR YOUR SAFETY ‼️ -Do not under any circumstances go into the water at Black Sands Beach. The tides are incredibly powerful and dangerous and many people have died there. You can totally go for a walk or hang out on the beach itself, it’s a truly beautiful place, just careful not to get too close to the water. There is a little creek that runs along the entrance if you want to interact with water.
