We have 7 acres of wooded property situated on area of old gold mining property with beautiful stream. 7 miles to Dahlonega, a historic town where gold was found. 19 miles to Helen, GA an Alpine themed village. The Appalachian trail also starts at Amicalola Falls State park about 26 miles from here, it also crosses several roads nearby. Brass Town Bald, highest mountain in GA is a 32 mile nice drive. Lots of waterfalls, Desoto Falls, Anna Ruby, Dukes Creek Falls and many hiking trails nearby. There a 4 winery's within 4 miles of our home. Horseback riding, canoeing and kayaking are available in the area. Suggested Local Attractions:Gold museum and gold mine tours at local mines, plenty of waterfalls and hiking trails close by. Even though we are back in the woods, we do have some road noise from the highway. At night it's considerably quieter. We also are usually living in our 5th wheel that is parked in the same vicinity.

Access Road Conditions: About 1/4 mile on a somewhat narrow paved road to our drive. Our drive is paved back to the house, then gravel around the circle drive that goes around the entire house. When you first come in our drive there is a curve that would make it tricky for anything longer than 30' trailer, could handle a slightly longer single vehicle length up to 35'. Parking for the rv is gravel with a slight slope uphill, will need to backup into the site, a vehicle with camper trailer would benefit having all wheel drive. See photo. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: 35' max. length on motor-homes and 30' on TT's, will need to disconnect toad before attempting the drive, parking for tow vehicle and toads in same area as the RV.
