This is a great spot to park if you want to visit the city of Chicago located about 25 minutes East. Directly across the street there is a green open space . Half a block down is The Prairie Path, a wonderful bike and walking path.You can easily drive into the City and find fairly inexpensive parking thru the Spot Hero app or take the train from my house, 22 minutes into the City. Whole Foods, Chase Bank, Kohl's and Portillo's eatery, just to name a few, are across Route 83 - walkable or a quick drive. I love my location because I am close to Chicago to the East, the North Shore of Chicago to the North, the Fox River to the West and Palos for hiking and mountain biking to the South.
