We are located at the end of a bay on a stocked, private lake, if you have an IL fishing license you are welcome to fish from our yard or off our dock. Because we are at the end, we do not care to swim in our bay but you are welcome to use our kayaks or canoe, just ask. The stars at night are amazing as it is pitch black but we are on a county road so you will hear cars going by, not often but enough to not call it totally quiet. We have 1 1/2 acres so plenty of room to roam but all pets must be on a leash. Please make sure to watch your children around the water. We do live in a private community but since we are on a township road, you do not have to drive through to get to us. Suggested Local Attractions: There is a little general store and gas station within walking distance. We have a couple of breweries and wineries, Timber Lake Playhouse, and hiking at Mississippi Palisades Park, all approx 30 minutes away. Our community also has a golf course and restaurant that is open to the public. Walmart, Menards and the town of Freeport are 25 minutes away.

Access Road Conditions: You will have to turn your rig around to leave but plenty of room for a 25 ft, even a little larger. The turn into the driveway is a little tight and a tad bit steep at the very beginning before you level off. We have no problem at all with our 25 ft. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Can park tow vehicle next to your rig either in the driveway or on the grass
