You are invited to explore and see in person, the place that is part of the foundation of aviation as we know it, the birthplace of Wilbur Wright. Along with the homestead, you'll find exciting displays, an authentic replica of the Wright Flyer, an early research wind tunnel, a replication of the Kill Devil Hills hangar, a bicycle shop, historic documents and artifacts, an F-84 Jet, and much more! The museum is a registered non-profit 501 C3 organization. The museum staff and board are all volunteer to help keep the museum and community facility as affordable as is possible. We hope to see you soon!

Your membership includes an overnight stay at a Host. Extra nights are available at the Host's discretion.

Upon arrival , check in at welcome center. Parking will be in the community center lot.

There is a small admission fee to tour the museum. There are also souvenirs available for purchase in the gift shop, and donations are always welcome!
