About
Delight your senses with the taste of nostalgia by parking your RV alongside the historic Penobscot River, where the charm of the 1870s mingles with the sweet indulgence of homemade ice cream. As you settle into your RV camping adventure, let the richness of a bygone era envelop you, enhanced by the delectible prospect of enjoying a pint of Maine's finest frozen treats.
Please note that although our quaint seasonal ice cream shoppe hugs its winter hibernation after Labor Day, our commitment to serve our guests with pints of scrumptious flavors remains undiminished. Simply browse the conveniently placed flavor list at your site and we'll be delighted to welcome you with a scoop or two.
Our cozy RV camping spot is respectably nestled within a peaceful residential neighborhood, offering you an intimate escape from the bustle of generators. Stroll along the riverbank, perhaps stumbling upon whimsical treasures such as vintage bottles or antique toys - artifacts of history tumbled through time along our own 'bottle dump'.
We pride ourselves on being pet-friendly, yet we maintain courtesy towards our neighbors. Keep your companions on a leash and the surroundings pristine by picking up after them. And while RV life sometimes calls for a rinse, we kindly ask that you hold off on washing cars, boats, or other equipment during your stay.
Whether you're cruising from I95 or journeying from the 395/Brewer exit, our location is just a scenic drive away. Opt for a touch of convenience with available Full-Hook Up spots, meticulously maintained for your comfort until the serenity of October 15th. Remember to inquire about the availability of electric, water, and sewer services to complete your RV camping experience.
Venture beyond the creamery's charm to discover local lore at Stephen King's house, scholarly pursuits at the University of Maine Orono, or the rich textures of history at Leonard Mills Logging Museum. Explore the area's bounty, from microbreweries to hiking trails, ensuring each day of your visit offers a new delight.
Embrace RV camping where the old and the new, the simple and the sublime, converge to offer you an unforgettable Maine adventure. Your next chapter of road-worn travels awaits, replete with the sweetness of creamery confections and the whispers of an enchanting river's edge.
