Bucksport Trading Post (BTP) is located on the beautiful Penobscot River. BTP provides quality Maine artisan, global wine, and cheese! Your stay will let you experience Maine through its Art and craftsmanship, local Cheese, and a great bottle of wine. Bucksport Trading Post is a short walk to the river walk and main street Bucksport with restaurants, ice cream, a historical movie theater, a cemetery with a historic ghost story, and beautiful views of Fort Knox and suspension bridge with viewing tower or 5 minute drive across the Penobscot River where you can tour the Fort. Bucksport is located 50 minutes from Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park and Stonington (Working Fishing Village), 30 minutes from Bangor, Belfast and Blue Hill and just over two hours from the Canadian border.

Your membership includes an overnight stay at a Host. Extra nights are available at the Host's discretion.

Extra night is on case by case based. One Water hose and outside outlet, 15 amp, available for water and electric hookup for additional fee(s). Extra nights $40 fee per additional night.

Spot 1 - Pull straight into spot facing River for best views or you can back in if easier. Park close to grass area near open field on the left of parking lot, and pull in as close as you can. Spot 2 can be in multiple locations depending on the size. Bigger RVs can park in the pull through driveway, but will need to be greeted by host to show location. Bigger RVs will need levelers as the space is not completely flat for larger vehicles.

The store offers Maine Art and other Maine-sourced items, coffee, jam, chocolate, soap, books, gifts, etc. We do daily free wine tastings from our full wine shop. We also have local, domestic and vegan cheese, some will pair with the tasting. HH members receive a 10% discount on Art purchases. Host will open shop for Harvest Host members if they arrive after hours or on off days if available. Members are always welcomed to provide cash or Venmo if unable to patronize the store.
