Pond View Farms HH Welcome to Pond View Farms on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Relax and settle in as you enjoy stunning sunrises, peaceful farmland views and a slower pace of life. During your visit you may have the opportunity to see farm life in action. We grow corn, soybeans, Lima beans,wheat, barley and milo. In the fall, you’ll find our flock of Thanksgiving turkeys gobbling around. With three generations working together there’s always something happening around our farm. Besides watching our crops sway in the fields there’s lots of wildlife to observe. Deer, bald eagles, geese, ducks, swan, wild turkeys and osprey are frequent visitors and sometimes outnumber us. You can take a walk, hike or bike ride to the Chesapeake Bay. One mile from your campsite is a marina overlooking the bay featuring a nine hole golf course, restaurant and tiki bar and in just over two miles you can enjoy a glass of wine at a vineyard on the banks of Worton Creek (seasonal). On your way to or from our farm you’ll find a seafood shop stocked with local in-season delicacies such as Maryland Blue Crabs and Rock Fish. We are located just a short 12 minute drive to historic Chestertown, MD. This charming town, on the edge of the picturesque Chester River, is home to Washington College, the Schooner Sultana, boutique shops, restaurants, and a farmers market (Sat 8am-1pm). The town also hosts vibrant festivals throughout the year such as the Chestertown Tea Party and the Sultana Downrigging Festival - Tallships & Bluegrass. To make your stay a good one we’ve provided a picnic table, fire pit, and morning coffee. There are also bikes available to use. In our “Bull Barn” we have s’mores kits, firewood, bottled water, RV TP & septic tank treatment, and other tidbits available for sale.
