Nestled in the pines of northern Michigan, Camp Virtus is the perfect place to visit the area or relax and unwind while traveling on the road. The area is a popular tourist destination offering the only natural falls in the lower peninsula, lighthouses (40 mile point lighthouse and a shipwreck are close by!), miles and miles of trails, and a great "jump off" spot for the areas must do's like Mackinaw City/Mackinac Island, Cheboygan's Boblo (Bois Blanc) Island, or the Rogers City Nautical Festival. Hoeft and Black Lake State Parks/day use areas are just a few miles away. Camp Virtus is surrounded by thousands of acres of state forest, fast and easy access to pristine Lake Huron shoreline and beaches, tranquil inland lakes and streams (great fishing), and all kinds of other cool local things to check out!
