After traveling in a 17’ Casita camper for 7 months out west, visiting 35 National Parks and Monuments, we settled down on 10 acres to start a hobby farm and be near family. During our travels, we enjoyed visiting many farms and small businesses using Harvest Hosts/Boondockers Welcome and we wanted to pay it forward and offer our space to fellow travelers. We have chickens and a large garden located on a quiet dirt road surrounded by agriculture land. There is a 1/2 mile walking path around our property you are welcome to enjoy. The camping spot has a picnic table, fire pit, and plenty of free wood available for you to cook your meals over an open fire and roast s’mores. 14 miles to the Blue Water bridges to Canada. 13 miles to the beautiful town of Lexington with excellent water views and local restaurants. 5 miles to grocery/convenience store. 3 miles to a beach and county park on Lake Huron. 2 miles to fuel 1/2 mile to The Property Farms/McCullums apple orchard (open year round on weekends) with a seasonal farmers market and crafts.
