DO NOT UNPLUG THE GRAY CORD IN THE ELECTRIC BOX. This runs our automatic chicken coop door. Let us know if you don't have electricity, since we need to reset the GFI or breaker so the coop door will close. All dogs must be leashed since we have chickens. Our driveway is a dead-end, so you need to turn around. Long rigs have turned around before, but it has challenged some drivers. Suggested Local Attractions: We are 10 minutes from the Root River Bike Trail (http://www.rootrivertrail.org/site/index.php) in either Houston or Rushford. The Creamery in Rushford has ice cream plus menu items. Houston has a nature center (http://www.houstonnaturecenter.com/) and nice Natural Playground. If you bike out of Lanesboro, watch for the Whalan pie shop. We are 20 minutes from Winona, MN and 30 minutes from La Crosse, WI. Both of these cities are on the Mississippi with likely bald eagle viewing. Try the Free Range Exchange in Hokah for breakfast or lunch items to-go. Locally sourced. We are 60 minutes from Mayo Clinic. Our house is located in a scenic bluff valley, and deer are common here.
