The spot is in the center of Kasson a town of 6000 about 15 minutes from the Mayo clinic. Kasson is a safe small town atmosphere. There are trees and a creek right behind the camp site. The site has a clean gravel parking pad and is shaded through most of the day. Police and fire departments are a couple of blocks away. The site is walking distance from laundromat, grocery store, post office, hardware store, lumberyard, several restaurants, auto parts store, and a propane fill station.
