About
All new reservation requests as of 5/1/2024 will be asked to donate $15 per night. After 4 years of being a BW host, we hate to raise our donation request, but the cost of electricity and water has nearly doubled in two years. The cost to re-gravel the parking pad has tripled. Being newly these added costs are hard to absorb. We are only 1 mile north if I-10 and have very easy access to the highway and our spot--even for the biggest rigs. We have a big gravel parking area in our side yard. The “landing pad” is really a large and wide driveway for getting our own big RV into its storage shed. The pad is much larger than the picture make it appear. We are located in north Biloxi and are located just off Interstate-10 in a country/residential area. There are Walmart’s, Targets, grocery stores, restaurants, and more about 10 minutes away in case you need to restock. We have 30-amp service for at least one unit. Want to stay more nights? Usually, no problem...we can discuss, especially during Crusin' the Coast. I am willing to host two units if you are traveling together. One in the group make a guest request and let me know. If you have stayed here before, I will always make room for you again, even if the calendar shows I am booked, just send me a message. Suggested Local Attractions: We are about 15-20 minutes north (6 miles as the crow flies) from the Biloxi beaches and casinos. Ocean Springs is a quaint town with a nice downtown area and many restaurants. Beach Boardwalk in both Biloxi and Ocean Springs is great for walks, bike rides, or to watch the sun set. Wide verity of beach front restaurants in Biloxi. Biloxi dog park is also nearby. Also, there is a large VA medical center in Biloxi. Biloxi is home to the huge “Cruisn’ the Coast” car show (10K+ cars in 2023) and the famous Shed barbecue is a short drive down I-10. We also have the large “Peter Anderson Festival” each year. Bay St. Louis is a fun drive down Beach Blvd (Hwy 90) about 25 minutes away.

Family of Avid RV’ers Details: We have been RVing for many years and have owned several from Class C’s to our current 40’ diesel pusher—we call her the “beast”. We have traveled southwest, northwest, southeast, and hope to go to the northeast next. Since I still have kids in school, we are primarily weekend travelers, with a few weeks here and there. As Hall of Fame host ourselves, we understand the importance of having a nice place to stay overnight while in route and hate stopping at Walmart, etc. Our location is easy access right off I-10 in Biloxi, MS and we are located close to shopping, casinos, and the Biloxi beaches. We are currently adding features/services to make both our own RV parking better, as well as those for our visitors. Hometown: Biloxi Mississippi Favorite Boondocking Locations: Anywhere away from work! Skills or Expertise to Share: I have helped many new campers over the years.

House Rules
Have fun--not a rule, but a promise! If there is anything you need, please ask. For example, do you have a motorcycle and prefer to park your motorcycle on the cement driveway? Just ask. I don't know what will make your stay better if you don't let me know. Rules --my kids say there is a story behind each of these rules! 1) ***We now have a dog run for our guests*** Feel free to use, but please clean up after your pets. No aggressive Pets. We also have a large side yard we’re they can run loose; however, the yard is not fenced. You know your pet. You decide if it is ok to let them off leash. Be aware my wife and son are a little apprehensive around big dogs so they may standoffish. On the other hand, my daughter is an animal fanatic and I hope your pets don't get too much loving from her! 2) If you need to dump, we have an access that is away from the parking pad. Let us know If you want to dump so we can get cars out of the way. Please do not use without asking so that we can make sure you use the correct access. About 1/4 of our guests choose to dump before departing. Also, a free dump is at Camping World, one mile away. 3) Please stay on the north side (roadside) of our privacy fence. Warning, we have a pool in the back yard that could be hazardous to children and adults. We also have a tree line along the edge of the property that is fun to play in, but following the last hurricane has many broken or leaning trees. 4). Have fun! However, let’s keep the neighbors happy by keeping the music low and not having wild parties. Let’s keep the city happy by not doing MAJOR maintenance (like changing you brakes) on your RV, washing, etc. I understand breakdowns. If you need to do emergency repairs just let me know and we will work something out. 5). If you need to unhook from your trailer/5th wheel, please let us know so we will not think you abandoned your rig and want us to sell to the highest bidder. This is a great area and I recommend you get out and take advantage of the location. Heck, I came for a year and have been here 16! 6) We certainly don't mind you using our water. If you fill your water tanks or use large amounts of water, please kick in a little extra ($5-10 per stay) to help with costs. Our sewer rates are based on water usage and our rates have increased dramatically in last two years. Under threat of massive fine, the city shut down all septic systems, bought out our community water well, and forced us all on to their expensive water/sewer system. Isn’t that called extortion? 7) When arriving and departing, it is OK to go on the grass, if need be, in fact I may even suggest it. Once parked please don’t drive any vehicles on the grass. (Yes, someone drove across my yard...twice!) 8). Please feel free to leave your air on to protect your pets while you our gone. In the middle of the summer, if it is extra hot (or cold) and you have been running A/C a bunch, please donate a little extra ($5-10 per stay). I promised the wife that being a host would be a net zero impact to our budget. 8) Being on our property is at your own risk. By coming on our property, you agree to release us from any and all liability for both known and unknown hazards. You agree that coming onto our property is entirely at your risk.
Parking & Arrival
All classes of Motorhomes can easily pull right off the road onto our “RV landing pad” without unhooking your toad/ trailer before you arrive. One method, if you are a class A, simply turn off the road and onto the hard packed gravel driveway parking area as if you are going to drive straight into our RV shed. That is how we do it. Once on the pad we then unhook our toad. Our Class A is 40’ and toad adds a little over 20’ and there is plenty of room. Hard to explain, but easy to do. Just cut between the two trees located just to the west of the cement driveways and onto the gravel pad (which also connects with the driveway). Once the toad is unhooked and moved out of the way, back up your RV as necessary, turn left onto the driveway and do a three-point turn so you are back-to-back with our RV/Shed. When departing, very long rigs may need to pull their RV forward towards the road, then re-hook the toad. Again, that is what we do. A second method, which works well for Motorhomes, trailers and "Monster" 5th wheels is to come first (east) driveway and just making a half circle on the driveway to the gravel pad such that you are actually on the gravel facing out towards the road and then just have to back up. The biggest of rigs may pull momentarily nose first onto the road to straighten, but then can back straight up to our RV shed. If you miss that first driveway you can still just pull in the gravel pad and do a three-point turn onto the cement driveway as described above. Plenty of room either way. Also, don't worry if you end up putting your wheels on the grass/dirt between the two cement drives when you come in the east driveway (or if you do a 3 point turn as described above). Get the best angle so you can park behind my RV. Back up right to the shed/ RV as that area is pretty level. As our pictures show, the main parking is hard packed gravel. The “RV landing pad” is to the west of the U-shaped cement driveway (the pad may not show on Google). Towed parking is on the gravel next to or in front of your rig. BIGGEST MISTAKE people make is driving too fast as they approach the address and missing the first driveway on the left. Good landmarks (in order): Fire station on the left, then a short bit later a blue water tank on the left which is quickly followed by a road, then just past the road there is a house and then IMMEDIATELY behind their fence is our east driveway. When you pass that blue water tank you need to be going slow or you will pass our east driveway! Tow Vehicle Parking: Plenty of off-street parking on hard surface near/next to the camper. Towed parking is on the gravel next to or in front of your rig. Lots of room for towing vehicle, trailers, and tow dolly. As a courtesy, after you get on the road the day of your arrival, please provide an estimate of your time of arrival (ETA--again, it is just an estimate). It helps me plan my day. Then, when you get about 10 minutes out, please give me a CALL on the number you get in the text I will send you. If I am not at work, I will try to meet you at the driveway to help guide you in. Many guests tell me it helps after a long day of driving!
