About
Imagine a sojourn where the quaint charm of a tea house intertwines with the rustic allure of RV camping, where you can indulge in the serenity of American craftsmanship while sipping a fresh brew from an on-site brewery. Embrace the heart of America's most renowned quilting town, where every stitch in the fabric of the community tells a story of tradition and warmth. This unique destination invites road-weary travelers to park their home on wheels and explore an enchanting blend of delectable lunches and the simple joys of handcrafted toys. Treat your taste buds in the cafe as the aroma of freshly steeped tea mingles with the comforting scents of homemade delicacies. Find yourself lost in a whimsical selection of toys that harken back to a time of meticulous artisanship. As the town stitches its claim to quilting fame, you'll find your own patchwork of experiences enriched by the comforting touch of hospitality. Leisure and creativity are the twin threads that weave through your stay, with each day promising a new discovery. Please note, while adventure awaits, this lovely haven is currently enhancing its welcoming arms with exciting improvements and is not accepting reservations at this moment. Soon, the gates will reopen, inviting RV campers back to bask in the crafted beauty and refreshing brews that await at this idyllic retreat. Keep this gem on your radar for an unforgettable stop on your next RV camping voyage.

We have one free space available in town and rentable spaces are available at the Legion of Honor. Our little town is a destination for folks who want to visit the 13 Missouri Star Quilt shops. We are also the boyhood home of JC Penny and have a wonderful quilt museum. I run the local tea shop where you can find relaxation, refreshment, and community. I also have a highly curated collection of handcrafted and unique toys, teas, teapots, and espressos. We have a festival every year around September 24th celebrating JC Penny, and the birthdays of the quilt shops, and the tea shop. The parking spot is next to our historical home in a convenient location between the museum and the main business street.
