About my place: We live in the mountains at 6,700 feet in elevation. We are 30 miles east of Albuquerque and 40 miles south of Santa Fe. We have 40 acres located literally in the middle of nowhere. They call this area the High Desert. There are few trees and lots of open range land. At night it is very quiet. On a new moon it is also very dark. Our land is not part of any city limits. We are part of Rural Santa Fe County. The nearest town to us is Edgewood, NM about 10 miles away. I told you we are in the middle of nowhere. I would ask you not arrive after sundown. There are no street lights and our place is very difficult to find in the dark. It is also very difficult to get your RV in position on my land in the dark. If you are traveling with a travel trailer or 5th wheel you will need to back up about 700 feet around a sweeping 90 degree turn to get your RV in the correct position. Local Attractions: We are midway between Albuquerque and Santa Fe New Mexico. Both cities offer tons of historical and cultural things to see and do.
