As dawn breaks over the pastoral tranquility of eastern North Carolina, unveil an RV camping experience that transports you through the tendrils of time. Imagine rolling up your RV among the gentle embrace of a six-acre farm, where history whispers tales from the 1790s beneath the shade of fruit-laden trees. Welcome to a sanctuary where the heritage of two distinct eras meld into one, as a pair of homes from 1790 and 1810 unite to form a historic tableau set against a backdrop of towering trees lining the drive. The birds are fed a diet of fresh vegetable scraps and high quality layer feed, as well as free ranging all day. We collect pecans by hand from our seven trees on the property during the fall, shell them and sell them by the pound. During the summer we have u pick muscadine grapes for sale by the pint. Dani is a baker by trade and always has fresh baked goods for sale for guests to enjoy during their stay and to take on their travels. *current seasonal items for purchase are as follows *Chicken eggs $5/dozen *Duck eggs $5/half dozen *Duck egg chocolate chip cookies $8/half dozen *seasonal muffins $10/assorted box of 4 (Inquire for daily flavors) I use the highest quality ingredients in the kitchen, organic and local when possible. I bake with care, and love sharing my passion for delicious treats with our guests. Parking & Arrival
If you are following gps to our location it will take you to our back driveway which leads to the back of our house. The easiest way to get to our main two pastures in the front of the house where you will be staying, is to turn into our driveway off of highway 111. If you are driving NE it will be on your right side. You will drive past a white cross and three chevron road signs, then see a long, tree lined driveway on the right. The easiest way to access the pastures is to drive up to the end of the gravel driveway and enter either pasture. Make yourself at home anywhere you like and enjoy our beautiful, quiet country skies.
