Welcome to our little piece of paradise by a small tranquil lake on Cape Breton Island which many consider to be one of the most beautiful islands in the world. We are located in the Village of Kempt Road, 20 minutes from Port Hawkesbury where you should get your supplies. Our driveway has a lobster trap on either side of the entrance. We are located just down the road from the Friends United Centre (Large sign at the road where you turn to get to our house). The Friends United Centre showcases indigenous art from around the world. A must see! Look for their FaceBook page to request as visit as they do not have regular hours. FYi... if you are planning a trip around the Cabot trail remember that most of the viewpoints are on the water side so it is best to go around the trail counter clockwise and also that is the sunset side. Linda and I are also artists and do offer our art for purchase in our studio but there is no pressure to purchase at all.
