Our home is on an island accessible by a causeway, on the banks of the St Lawrence River, near the Lost Villages. There are lots of recreation opportunities nearby. Upper Canada Village is within minutes of us, golf at the beautiful Upper Canada Golf course just minutes away too. The Upper Canada Bird Sanctuary is nearby and if you're fortunate you may see the resident swans as you cross the causeway. Ottawa, Canada's capital, is about 90 km (55 miles) away with all there is to see and do in the City. There is a beautiful 50 km approx. cycling path accessed from our road just as you cross the causeway, a river at our front door if you fish or travel with a kayak, canoe etc or are just looking for a convenient place to stop, 10 minutes from the 401 and just off Hwy 2. We live about equal distance between two international border crossings in Ontario, Cornwall (Massena NY) to the east and Prescott (Ogdensburg NY) to the west.
