About
Welcome to Oregon's longest running store. It all stated in 1896 here in the wonderful John Day valley. We have always been a Mercantile since 1894.
Enjoy our oasis and local swimming holes, fishing and hunting all year around in this special area.
Our store caters to the fossil hunter and the Sheep Rock Unit of the Fossil Beds is at our back door. To complement your stay u can tour the old store anytime.
