Presque Isle State Park, is twenty-five minutes away and free to the public. There are 13 beaches to enjoy. Trails to walk, skate, or ride your bike. There are pontoon boat tours or you can rent a kayak and go off on your own adventure. Right near Presque is Waldameer Park and Water World. They have 36 rides and 32 waterslides. Erie is also home to the Tall Ship the USS Niagara. The area is surrounded by grape farms with more than 20 wineries along the lakeshore.
