About
Immerse yourself in the bucolic charm of a family-owned farmstead where RV camping harmoniously melds with the art of winemaking. Tucked away at the foothills of the majestic Peaks of Otter, this farm offers an idyllic escape for RV enthusiasts keen on soaking up rustic tranquility while sipping on the unique "Fruit of the Farm" wines. Your RV adventure begins with three welcoming spots in the winery's overflow parking area, a prime location for those eager to experience the winery vibes up close. For those seeking a longer retreat into nature, additional spaces beckon from the festive field by the creek, where the gentle babble of water and the echoes of wildlife are your closest neighborsavailable for a nightly fee, with smaller rigs (35 ft and under) comfortably accommodated. As you settle into your pastoral nook, be advised that this vibrant farm is as lively as it is enchanting. With the safety of guests held paramount, it's essential to respect the working farm's boundaries and avoid exploration into areas not meant for play. Children and adults alike are reminded to admire the farm machinery from afar and find joy in the safer corners of this rural paradise. Indulge in the flavors of the land with wines crafted from a variety of fruits, all harvested from the fertile soils of this sixth-generation family orchard. As you savor your glass, let your gaze wander over the sweeping views and partake in the simple pleasure of frolicking critters. For those traversing via I-81, heed the local travel wisdom offered and avoid the call of GPS-led adventures over challenging mountain routes; instead, opt for a more RV-friendly journey as directed. With a keen eye on underpass clearances, you'll navigate this pastoral domain with ease. Where rolling hills whisper stories of heritage and every sunset is toasted with a sample of nature's bounty, this farm is more than a stopoverit's a destination where RV camping, viticulture, and the warmth of family tradition blend seamlessly. Come for the wine, stay for the stars, and leave with memories etched into the soul.

Please inform the clerk when you start to make a purchase that you are a Harvest Host member. This info is valuable in deciding how we continue the program. Johnson's Orchards was founded in the 1700's on The Peaks of Otter where the National Park Service still keeps one of our farms open for public views. Robert Johnson and Elmo Johnson the 5th and 6th generation from the Peaks, purchased this farm in 1918 and now we have the 6th generation running around on it. We have over 150 varieties of apples and make fresh unpasteurized cider in the fall. We have U-PIC apples, cherries, blackberries, plums, nectarines, and peaches. In our sales room you will find jellies, jams, relishes, butters and lot of other canned goodies. We also have fresh apple cider donuts year round. We carry a line of shirts, caps and other gift items. We have over 30 different kinds of wines including sparkling and chili pepper, known as Kiss The Devil.
