There is a shallow well on the property that previous owners used for drinking water. I have a gasoline powered pump I can hook up and assist guests with water from. I would suggest boiling the water for drinking, but it is perfectly fine for washing, and for animals. Suggested Local Attractions:Appalachian trail is close by. The property is approximately an hour from Blacksburg Virginia (Home of Virginia Tech). The New River is also close by and popular for canoe , kayaks etc in the warmer weather.
