About
Unwind in the tranquil serenity of eastern Iowa's rolling hills where a unique RV camping adventure awaits you, within a whisper of West Branch's historic charm. Engage with the gentle, prize-winning alpacas that wander the pastures of this family-friendly farm, offering RVers a memorable experience steeped in rural hospitality. Beyond the soft hum of alpaca grazing, you're invited to indulge in handmade treasures sourced directly from the fleece of these fluffy residents. The farm store is a trove of alpaca products, each with a story spun from the very fields you'll wander. For the enthusiast of equine elegance, an impressive collection of over 3500 Breyer model horses invites admiration, with a curated selection available for those wishing to take a piece of this passion home. This haven doesn't just cater to animal aficionados; it extends a warm welcome to pets as well, boasting a secure, expansive yard where your furry companions can frolic freely. Immerse yourself in the bucolic setting as you acquaint yourself with Cutter the horse, Eddie the miniature donkey, the vibrant plumage of peacocks, and the charming clucks of free-range chickensfresh eggs possibly in tow. Just moments from the greens and fairways of the local golf course, the farm ensures your journey is near-effortless, requiring only a brief meander down a gravel road to find this pastoral retreat. Dive deeper into the fabric of American history with a jaunt into West Branch, exploring the birthplace of President Herbert Hoover, complemented by a visit to his Presidential Library and Museum. RV camping at this farm isn't just about a place to park; it's an invitation to join a community, with evenings designed around the patio's babbling koi pond and soothing streama perfect backdrop for savoring homemade cheesecake and signature wine slushies. Commitment to service shines, as the farm store reopens its doors exclusively for guests after traditional hours, and the hosts ensure a personal welcome guiding you to your resting spot. For a personalized and comfortable stay, guests are encouraged to provide an estimated arrival time as the sun dips below the horizon. Embrace the chance to connect, not just with nature, but with the soul of RV camping infused with local flavors, fellowship, and the unmistakable charm of life among alpacas.

Parking & Arrival
Check in with the Host for parking instructions. The farm is quiet. We are just a few minutes off of Interstate 80, yet in the country. Great place to see the stars and beautiful sunsets. Level surfaces to park (grass and gravel). As you come through town to the farm, you will also pass the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and National Park. We offer more than one night stay in case you would like to go visit the park. We do not have any type of dump availability for grey water. We do have well water should you need it. There is a building near where we park guests that has 110 electricity, so you are welcome to use that or use your adapter so you can plug in if you need to. We don't charge for water, but do request $15 for electrical use. This is not high voltage so you cannot run air conditioner or your whole unit from it. We do allow generators! GENERATORS are ok!!!

House Rules
We welcome pets. We do have a fenced, large yard for your dogs to burn off energy. They are fine to be in the yard as long as they do not jump fences. If a jumper, please keep them on a leash. Also note, dogs cannot be near the alpacas or llamas.
Items to Purchase
We have a farm store with a variety of alpaca products - most of which were made from the fiber from our animals. We have in the store clothing, plush toys, cat toys, dryer balls, goat milk soaps (alpaca shaped of course), hats, mittens, scarves, fingerless gloves, cowls, headbands, socks, sweaters, rugs, holiday ornaments, and more! In West Branch, just 1 mile from the farm is the President Herbert Hoover National Park and Library. You will drive right past it as you get off the interstate to come to our farm.
