Contoocook village is home to the world's oldest surviving covered railroad bridge. Hopkinton State Fair Grounds (1/2 mile walk). Near Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail (still in the development stage). Contoocook River and Elm Brook Park (Hopkinton Lake) also near.

Following our retirement, we have enjoyed traveling the USA and beyond to meet new people and experience different cultures as well as enjoying the scenic beauty of the world. Special focus on National Parks. We enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking and have volunteered on our longer term trips.
