About
Immerse yourself in a pastoral symphony of vineyard charm and rustic delights at a high-elevation retreat where RV camping ascends to new heights. As RV enthusiasts search for that idyllic hideaway, they need look no further than this enchanting destination, nestled atop a mountain at 2100 feet, offering picturesque views that rival the best in the region. Step into a world where the native, cold-hardy Katuah Muscadine vines thrive alongside an assorted orchard of heritage apples, wild plums, cherries, figs, pears, and peaches. Embrace nature's bounty with an assortment of Aronia Berry, Kiwi, and Buffalo Berry bushes. For those with a thirst for knowledge and nature, our terraced slopes become a living classroom, guiding guests through the lifecycle of these robust grapevines within a 10' x 40' walapinia haven nurturing life amidst the chill. During your stay, seize the opportunity to engage in a comprehensive 1-hour farm tour, unveiling the secrets of a bygone era in our century-old tobacco barn, while Scottish Highland cows, donkeys, and chickens add a dash of pastoral charm to the landscape. Children will revel in the joy of collecting eggs and connecting with the cycle of life on the farm. Embark on a sensory journey through our array of freshly harvested fruits, and when in season, indulge in the natural sweetness of grapes straight from the vine. For carnivorous connoisseurs, our Scottish Highland beef offers a gourmet embrace of farm-to-table dining. Experience the art of winemaking with our exclusive Muscadine tasting and wine etiquette session, where Chuck, an acclaimed author and viticulture connoisseur, will impart wisdom gleaned from his literary works, elevating your appreciation for country wines and refined hospitality. Please be advised our pastoral haven is safeguarded by electric fences that keep the serenity within and the curious black bears at bay. RV camping adventurers, to secure your serene mountain-top spot, reach out with your details, from your trusty rig's dimensions to the names and ages within your party. Check your communications diligentlyour response may choose to play hide and seek within your elusive spam folder. Prepare for an RV camping escapade that marries the splendors of agrarian lifestyle with the romance of the vine, all waiting for you to explore, taste, and revel in. (Note: Please do not include the name "Jewel of the Blue Ridge Vineyard" in my response.)
