About
Whisk away on a journey through time as you indulge in RV camping near the historical gem that is a living echo of the roaring 1920s. Located in the quaint town of Drumright, Oklahoma, this majestic 8,000 sq. ft. venue, once a bustling schoolhouse during the oil boom era, now serves as an idyllic backdrop for travelers seeking an elegant touch to their outdoor adventures. The fusion of romance and historical allure makes this site a perfect escape for RV enthusiasts looking to merge the soothing pleasure of fine wines with the rustic charm of RV camping. As you unfurl your awning and settle into the tranquility, the symphony of modern amenities and rich heritage promises a unique sojourn. Set amidst the historic grandeur of the former Tidal School, built by none other than John D. Rockefeller's Tidewater Oil Company, this place not only stands proudly on the National Register of Historic Places but also crafts a delightful narrative which comes alive around you. Equipped with facility-wide sound that caresses both indoor and outdoor spaces, this spot ensures each memory is woven with a soundtrack befitting its elegance. While not a typical RV park, this location offers a rare experience that harmoniously blends cultural heritage with the comforts of modern RV campingincluding access to fresh water upon request to top off your tanks, ensuring your journey is as seamless as it is serene. Navigating here is a breeze when you travel along I-44/Route 66 with convenient routes through the scenic landscapes of Oklahoma. Do keep some cash and change handy, as not all toll roads have adopted Toll by Plate, maintaining a quaint touch of travel's yesteryears. Ready your RV for a stop that encapsulates the essence of historical exploration and camping charm. Here, the past greets you with a glass of wine and an unforgettable stay under the stars.
