About
Awaken your senses to a slice of Oregon's rich history with a majestic rendezvous at this charming RV camping spot, where timber lore and rustic relaxation converge. Our beguiling host location invites you to immerse yourself in the former headquarters of a renowned lumber company, artfully repurposed into a quaint bed and breakfast and event center steeped in the heritage of Hines, Oregon. As you settle into your RV, surrounded by the echoes of a bygone era, brace yourself for a captivating tour of a historic edifice that's both our pride and homea sanctuary where the past is preserved with care. Delight in the thoughtfully curated mercantile stocked with an enchanting array of local and regional wares, from artisanal creations to delectable treats and beverages, fostering an authentic connection with the community. Though we boast an enviable location on Highway 20, with the calm of the nighttime offering solace, we gently remind adventure-seekers that ours is not the secluded wooded retreat some may long for. Instead, find joy in the camaraderie around a crackling fire pit or indulge in the simple pleasures of our barbecue area, transforming your RV camping experience into memories that linger like the scent of pine in the air. Adhering meticulously to our 90-day booking window ensures exclusivity for your sojourn through Harvest Hosts, as we treasure personalized engagements over volume. Prepare to embrace the essence of dry camping, with no water, electric, or sewer hookups, yet abundant with natural charm. Generators hum in the background, but only during courteous hours, and pets find their bliss here too, always on leashes and leaving no trace behind. We invite you to embody the spirit of our code of conduct, navigating parking with care, and ensuring the drive remains a thoroughfare for all our guests. In anticipation of your visit, we weave a tapestry of warm welcomes and seek to enrich your RV camping adventure with the legacy of Hines. Here's to encounters that resonate and stays that are nothing short of enjoyable!

Items for Purchase
The Mill House Mercantile within the inn features many local and regional goodies - lovable chainsaw carvings by Hines artist, Ryan Huber; handmade cribbage boards by our very own Roger Hodge; carved Pacific primitive masks and other items by Hodge Lodge Trading Post; souvenir wooden postcards by Hines artist, Marylou Wilhelm; photography and handmade bears by Dana Breshears - and an assortment of stationery, candles, body care, jewelry, candy, and regional beer, wine, and other drinks. We welcome you to take a look! If a gift shop treasure isn't your thing, you can leave a donation via our Venmo link, or in the mail slot to the left of our front door. As a small rural business, we appreciate it!

Parking & Arrival
We ask that you enter the south/west entrance of our front drive, closest to the truck stop across the highway and the light green camp train car in our front area. Pull as close to the grass on the left side of the drive as possible, but please do not park on the grass. We have marked two spaces for Harvest Hosts - oval signs #1 and #2 - so you can look for the signs. Along the curves of the drive are the best sites, as they offer shade and space for driver-side slide outs. Please be sure wherever you park, cars can pass alongside you on the drive. If you have slide outs on your rig, our spaces allow only the driver side slides to be extended. For safety reasons along the drive, we do not allow the passenger slide outs to extend unless just a few inches. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
