New Data Overlays Feature on the Harvest Hosts App

The photos above are three of our newest updates—with our previous addition on full display too. If you are wondering what each one represents, it shouldn’t shock you to discover they are three cell phone coverage areas! This means you can boondock at your favorite Harvest Hosts locations, knowing what you can expect from your cell phone coverage. We all love the camping experience, but sometimes you still need to be connected. Whether it’s that last little bit of work you need to get done before vacation, or your family needs to be able to contact you in case of an emergency. Knowing what kind of cell phone coverage you are going to have can help bring peace of mind as you venture out to explore the world around you.

It Is More than Cell Coverage Too

Having cell coverage is great, but Harvest Hosts has gone beyond cell coverage maps. When you unhook from your rig to get out and see what is happening in the area, you want to know what you can expect from a weather perspective. Well, Harvest Hosts understands that and has delivered. Here you can see three weather overlays that can help you navigate your stays.

wp-content-uploads-2022-11-3-2-1024x673.jpg The first map shows the direction of the winds. All of those little arrows are showing you the way the wind will be moving in your area. The second is your precipitation and its severity. The last one demonstrates the temperatures in the area. All three of these are available as a part of our new data layer pack for All Access Members.

There Are New Harvest Hosts Maps Too

In addition to the six new overlays, there are new maps. You can now use street view, satellite, and terrain. This means you can choose your map, the weather, and cell coverage—in any combination—and get up-to-date information on your trip.
