For the purposes of this article, included in our list of the Southwest is Arizona, New Mexico, southern Utah, and RV camping in Nevada. Arizona

Stutts Ranch - Wickenburg, AZ

True to its name, Stutts Ranch is a working ranch that also provides some luxury accommodations. Here, visitors have the opportunity for a true western experience, right from the comforts of their own RV. Guests can watch or participate in horse riding and/or cattle roping, all while enjoying the beauty of the pristine desert landscape. If you need a break from staying in your RV, they also offer several luxury suites. They offer donation-based dry camping or upgraded full hookup sites for two RVs of any size.

Desert Mirage Alpaca Ranch - Wittman, AZ

The Desert Mirage owners have been raising and breeding Huayaca alpacas them since 2006, and they now have over thirty on their ranch. The alpacas raised here compete in shows and produce the highest quality fibers, which are then made into products and sold on the ranch. This Harvest Hosts location offers two pet-friendly spaces for RVs under thirty-five feet in length.

Cynosure Project - Camp Verde, AZ

Cynosure Project owner Richard runs a homestead that primarily focuses on his goat herd and on his multimedia art. Here, there are a variety of unique art projects available for purchase, along with goat products, such as milk and cheese. A few years ago, Richard was actually featured on a PBS show called rare visions and road side attractions, showcasing the uniqueness of this place and encouraging future visitors to check it out. This Harvest Hosts location offers two spaces for RVs under thirty feet in length.

The Third and Survey Shopping Society - Tombstone, AZ

This dry camping RV park is situated close to downtown Tombstone and all the fun Western activities to find there. Next to the park is the Shoot Out Arena that hosts monthly bull riding events. This Harvest Hosts location offers fifteen pet-friendly spaces for RVs of any size. The first night is free for Harvest Hosts members, and camping costs ten dollars (USD) per night after that.

Camp Etowa - Bisbee, AZ

Also found on Hipcamp, Camp Etowa is like a little slice of desert heaven. This dry camping location will truly give visitors an up-close look at the biodiversity found on the border of Mexico and the United States. It is also close to the picturesque, artsy town of Bisbee, which is a must-see if you are traveling nearby. This Harvest Hosts location offers two pet-friendly spaces for RVs of any size.

Three Pines Oasis - Arivaca, AZ

This family farm is situated on thirty acres and has goats and horses, along with plenty to explore. The best way to support this Host is by purchasing any of the handmade items they have for sale. This Host offers three full-hookups sites and one dry camping spot. Proceeds from the jewelry and accessory sales go towards their children’s medical needs, so visitors may consider making an additional donation to cover their hookups. In total, this Harvest Hosts location offers four pet-friendly sites for RVs of any size.

Harbottle Brewing Company - Tucson, AZ

Named after one of their ancestors, Harbottle Brewing has a laid back “come as you are” motto. They strive to create beers and an environment in which anyone can feel comfortable. They offer a variety of craft beers, including some seasonal ones, and one of their newest ventures includes offering pizza and giant micheladas. This Harvest Hosts location offers one pet-friendly space for an RV up to thirty-five feet in length.

MotoSonora Brewing Company - Tucson, AZ

Founded at the intersection of a love for beer, travel, and vehicles, MotoSonora is a must-visit location for nearby travelers. Their brewmasters have a deep history of enjoyment of West Coast brews, but they also strive to incorporate old world beer styles into their brewing process. Their beer garden is dog-friendly and feels like a little oasis in the Arizona desert. Currently, they offer two pet-friendly sites for RVs up to thirty feet in length.

Intuitive Natural Health - Tijeras, NM

Run by Chris Ann Cravens, Intuitive Natural Health is a beautiful getaway that focuses on holistic healing and relaxation. Trilogy Beef Community - Tijeras, NM

The Trilogy Beef Community is a group of local beef producers aimed at supporting and supplying their community. They strive to produce quality products for nearby families to enjoy to reduce their carbon footprint. Harvest Hosts guests can purchase any of these incredible and local products, while also enjoying the serene setting. This Harvest Hosts location offers two pet-friendly spaces for RVs of any size. 

Humming Desert Alpacas - Algodones, AZ

Home to over forty friendly alpacas, Humming Desert Alpacas produces a variety of incredible alpaca products. They also raise, breed, and show alpacas and are considered a teaching farm for local veterinary technician programs. This Harvest Hosts location offers two pet-friendly spaces for RVs up to forty feet in length.

Kitty City - Alamogordo, NM

This cats-only rescue has the goal of helping and adopting out homeless cats. There are cats on-site waiting to be adopted out, along with sanctuary cats that will continue to be cared for and protected on site. The best way to support this Host is by making a donation or purchase from their on-site store. This Harvest Hosts location offers three pet-friendly spaces for RVs of any size.

Public House 28 Brewery - Anthony, NM

This little brewery keeps a few regular beers on tap, while also serving local wines and cocktails to support their menu. Public House 28 has a gorgeous outdoor garden area to enjoy your drinks, while also offering bites from rotating local food trucks. Goldhill Outpost - Lordsburg, NM

Goldhill Outpost is a quirky general store filled with all kinds of goodies. Visitors will want to ensure that they carve out enough time to get a good look around, as there’s truly something here for everyone. Some of their rotating inventory items include books, toys, local artwork, trinkets, apparel, home goods, decor, and so much more.
