Locations include establishments such as farms, wineries, breweries, museums, restaurants, attractions, and more. Wolf Hollow Brewing Company is a wonderful example of an incredible Harvest Hosts brewery. Located near Albany, New York, this location serves incredible craft beers and barbecue in an awesome setting. Continue on to learn all about the brewery, its history, the business today, and its joining of the Harvest Hosts program.

The History

“Your Beer, Brewed Here.” This is the founding and continuing motto at Wolf Hollow Brewing Company. Founded by friends Jordan and Pete, the owners began Wolf Hollow with a love of beer, deep community ties, and a dream. In 2013, they first began operations out of a community hall, filling growlers on Thursday and Friday nights. They would typically brew about eighty gallons of beer per week but struggled to produce enough to meet their customers’ needs.

About a year later, they welcomed a third partner, Bill, who allowed them to move the business into his barn, which is where the business remains today. They were then able to increase their brewing capacity and set up a cold storage place. Bill also owns Buzzards Bay BBQ, which now operates on-site and compliments Wolf Hollow Brewing’s beers perfectly.

The Business Today

Today, Wolf Hollow is now open five day per week and has expanded to include sixteen incredible brews, sold in fresh pints, growlers, kegs, and cans in the brewery and more than 100 other local businesses. However, community ties continue to remain at the heart of everything they do, no matter the size of their operation. When thinking about their brewing community, they said:

“When we talk about the community that gave us our start, we are thinking of so many who have become a part of Wolf Hollow by contributing in whatever way they could – building, cleaning, designing, surveying, advising, drawing, painting, giving, branding, and mostly telling others about this little place where you could fill your growler with fresh beer in West Glenville.

There’s a story about a friend or a group of friends behind every piece of what you see (and some don’t see) in our brewery. When you stop by for a beer one of us will be there to share those stories. Better yet, just have a seat in the taproom and ask the person next to you how they know about this place. Chances are good, you’ll get a great story and they will tell you their part in it; that’s what we believe is special about this place.”
