This property is a former Indiana Grange Hall with a vibrant history. It was built in 1914 and was in continuous use until 2017. The property is 1.5 acres and has an outdoor shower and sink (with hot water!) and is lit until midnight. There are garden paths and a short hiking trail through the woods. The stock tank pool is a relaxing place to soak and have a cocktail, either during the sunny afternoon or as the sun sets or even after dark when the night noises begin. It can be heated, if you prefer. We have a large bonfire pit, a small chiminea and a seating area with two swings. Wildlife abounds, including birdwatching, deer, wild turkeys, coyotes, possums, raccoons, rabbits, chipmunks, maybe even a fox. There is a variety of nearby hiking trails and lakes. Other nearby items of interest: paintball, restaurants, bars & pubs, breweries, even sky diving! Approximately 10-15 miles to several Lake Michigan beaches and parks.
