We have been traveling the country and have stayed at many Boondocker's Welcome sites and wanted to return the favor. We don't have much, just an acre and a half but it is a quiet spot with lots to see in the area. Lots of wildlife, deer and turkeys are almost daily visitors and we even have our own beehive. The Ludington State Park is just a few miles away and is one of the nicest in the country. Their dump station is about 2 miles away and is one of the better dump sites you will run across. Suggested Local Attractions: We are 5 min north of Beautiful Ludington and just minutes from the shores of Lake Michigan. The Ludington State Park is also nearby with its many trails and hiking opportunities. Our site has become even more popular than we had envisioned and it has been so fun to meet such a diverse group of travelers. For the past two seasons, we have not charged anything for electric hookup. This past year we had guests for over 80 nights! While we aren't going broke it is starting to put a dent in the budget. Going forward, we will be requesting an optional $5 per night donation for electricity just to try and keep this cost neutral for us. We know that traveling is not cheap and if you cannot afford it, please don't worry about it, enjoy your stay on us. We do not want you to feel any pressure from us, if you can afford it, great, if not, it is no big deal. We look forward to meeting you.
