Here, we’d like to highlight some of the newest Harvest Hosts locations in the Pacific Northwest. The Pacific Northwest includes the West Coast states of Oregon and Washington, as well as all the beauty that comes along with them. Washington

With three national parks, the Puget Sound, Mt. Saint Helens, Mt. Rainier, the gorgeous coast, and so much more, Washington State is a popular travel destination and a gorgeous piece of the Pacific Northwest. Fortunately for travelers, there are several new Hosts worth visiting in this attractive state. Be sure to check these out while visiting the area!

Orcas Moon Alpacas Farm - Eastsound, WA

Located on Orcas Island in the Puget Sound, you’ll need to take the ferry to reach this Harvest Hosts location. Here, visitors can witness the farm’s alpacas, cows, sheep, giant rabbits, and more up close! The best way to support this Host is by making a donation or by making a purchase from their farm store. This Harvest Hosts location has just one space available for RVs under twenty feet in length.

Amaro Farm - Friday Harbor, WA

Amaro Farm and Soaps was built on an 1800s homestead property where they raise sheep for wool and goats for soap. It is located on Friday Harbor and requires a ferry trip to access the farm. This Harvest Hosts location offers five pet-friendly spaces for RVs under forty feet in length.

Franks Farm - Everson, WA

This working farm is situated on seventy-five acres and offers a relaxing night’s stay. Here, they raise cows and chickens and offer U-Pick blueberries and flowers, as well as upgraded RV spots with hookups for an additional charge. Highwater Farm - Mount Vernon, WA

Talk about sustainable! Highwater Farm grows organic vegetables and even supplies all of their own power with solar. They regularly donate excess produce to food banks and feature a FarmFit fitness program to help people unwind and reconnect with nature. This fantastic location offers one pet-friendly space for RVs of any size, so be sure to book as far in advance as you can!

Foggy Noggin Brewing - Bothell, WA

While new to Harvest Hosts, Foggy Noggin is no stranger to brewing. Brewmaster Jim Jamison began brewing in 1992 when his wife, Kim, gifted him a home brewing set. Between 2007 and 2009, the Jamison family was hard at work planning their microbrewery, which they finally opened in 2010. Today guests can stop by their tasting room to sample any of their six beers on tap or to fill their growler. This Harvest Hosts location offers two spaces for RVs under thirty feet in length.

Honeysuckle Meadery - Rainier, WA

Honeysuckle Meadery owner, Dean, not only produces his own mead but also harvests the honey to make the mead, as well. They regularly have six types of mead available, as well as a few wines as well. This Harvest Hosts location offers two pet-friendly spaces for RVs under forty-four feet in length, and we highly recommend stopping by to experience their place for yourself.

Blue Mist Farm - Enumclaw, WA

What started as the hobby of owning three pet alpacas has since evolved into a full working farm. Blue Mist Farm is home to over 75 alpacas, as well as plenty of sheep and goats. Here, they harvest fiber and fleece from their animals, and they even have a small gift shop with yarns and products from their animal fibers. This Harvest Hosts location offers one pet-friendly space for RVs under thirty-five feet in length.

Eastern Washington Agricultural Museum - Pomeroy, WA

This museum focuses on preserving agricultural tradition and educating the local youth. They feature exciting exhibits such as cattle tools, farm equipment, blacksmithing, and more. This Harvest Hosts location has three pet-friendly spaces for RVs under forty-four feet in length, as well as upgraded RV spots with hookups for an additional fee. Visitors can patronize this host by purchasing entry to the museum or paying for a site with hookups.

Oregon

Oregon is home to numerous tourist attractions, such as Crater Lake National Park, many gorgeous coastal towns, lush rainforests, towering mountains, and so much more. There are also fun towns and cities to visit, such as Portland, Bend, Astoria, Newport, and so many more. Wayward Winds Lavender - Newberg, OR

Get ready to visit one of the largest lavender fields at Wayward Winds Lavender in Oregon. Wayward Winds runs a U-Pick operation and also offers numerous lavender products for purchase. The best time to visit this Host is in the spring and summer when the lavender is blooming, where you can see the beauty and also experience the aroma and the full essence of this place. This Harvest Hosts location offers five pet-friendly spaces for RVs under thirty-five feet in length, offering plenty of opportunities for you to pay them a visit!

OxZen Acres - Salem, OR

A play on the word “oxen”, OxZen Acres wants visitors to come enjoy their animals and leave feeling a little more relaxed. They currently have a herd of Tibetan yak and a few Tibetan Mastiffs as well. Keeping with the Tibetan theme, they have even had Tibetan monks visit as guest speakers in the past. This location typically has chicken and duck eggs, as well as yak fiber available for purchase. In the future, they will be featuring more handmade items in their shop. Currently, they have one pet-friendly space available for an RV under thirty-five feet in length. 

Grape Lane Poultry Farm - Turner, OR

The Grape Lane Poultry Farm began as a pioneer farm in 1836 and is used in a similar fashion today. They have their own patented garlic variety, and they use their crops in as many ways as possible. During certain seasons, they will have different crops and herbs available for purchase. They also have an online store that sells stickers. BlackRose Farms - Mapleton, OR

Coming soon in May 2022 is BlackRose Farms. Founders and owners Nathan and Sekhmet BlackRose are both passionate about what they do. Nathan specializes in botany and landscaping, while Sekhmet is a holistic chef that specializes in herbal remedies and natural healing. When they open, they will offer U-Pick and a fantastic farmers market packed with produce and herbs. This Harvest Hosts location will also have five pet-friendly spaces for RVs of any size.
