We are Paul and Patty. We have been enjoying being hosts on BoonDockers welcome and are learning a lot from the people that are staying with us. We are enjoying getting out there and experiencing this more for ourselves as we have semi-retired and are hitting the road more.

We had a catastrophic event with our Fifth wheel, they came to the rescue and helped us tremendously. With out their help we would probably still be sitting beside the road . Thank you Paul and Patty! You two are the salt of the earth! Hod bless you both…

Friendly enough host but ended up being a bit of a disaster for us. Their well had problems and we needed water hookups, they did not tell us before hand that they were having issues. Also we needed a 30 amp plug in and when we arrived they were not home, and someone else had taken the plug or something so my husband had to miss going to a location with us so he could get set up. I understand that stuff happens it just was unfortunate timing. We left early and they didnt seem to want to chat at all which is ok but was not welcoming like other boondockers we have met.

We enjoyed our stay. The directions we were given made finding it easy. They were welcoming and accommodating. It was a very quiet place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ankeny hill getaway. Patty and Paul were gracious hosts. We enjoyed chatting with them on their back patio in the cool breeze. It was a very quiet restful place. We would definitely stay here again.
