We arrived in the early evening and were greeted warmly. We parked close to the house on a flat grassy area. The driveway from the road requires some skill to navigate, but we managed it with our 31-foot camper, which is not off-road capable; however, caution is advised. It's a special place, and the next day we had wonderful conversations with Dan. He gave us numerous excellent recommendations for places we should see. It was a special time for us, and we wouldn't want to miss this encounter.

Dan gave us a good choice of locations on his site, so we found a flat spot that allowed us to stay hitched for an early start in the morning. The entrance was okay for our 25.5' trailer, but we could see the mark on the road where someone had dragged. The two doggos came and greeted us in the morning as we got ready to go. A pleasant restful stay.

We only stayed 1 night but we would stay again. Dan was a very informative host. He is not contankirous as he says he is. He did everything he could to make our stay as confortable as possible. He is Boondockers Welcome, so he does not have anything for sell. The road in was not as bad as some other reviews that I read. There is a cattleguard that you have to cross. Our garmin GPS didn't get us there but my Google Maps took us right to the driveway.

We stayed two nights at Aracnidia Acres. The location served us well and the country setting was quiet and dark. We spent time with the host chatting about an assortment of topics. There was plenty of grass parking that was reasonably level and shady, not too far from town.
