Dave and Susan were great to to communicant with. We were on the last two days of a six week trip to North Dakota and Canada and being able to stay with them was a great help. It was raining and Susan was so nice to help us setup in the rain and provided plenty of helpful info and a home grown tomato for the road the next morning. Dave and Susan thanks again we look forward to seeing you again when in the area.

Great communication. Easy directions. Susan and David met me at the driveway with a wonderful HH sign display to show that I was in the right place. I parked and walk down the drive to see where the parking spot was. Excellent location, plenty of room, beautiful piece of property. Lots of shade very well kept. Nice heavy graveled pad to park on. Hookups were perfect and easy access. Lots of space setup for me to enjoy my outside time. The weather was beautiful. Really enjoyed meeting David and Susan, very gracious hosts. Susan and I enjoyed many wonderful conversations during my stay. She shared some great experiences and fascinating stories especially about their gorgeous home they live in dated back to the 1920’s. Susan took me on a tour of the property and their beautiful RV, what a treat. Love the renovations she personally did on their RV. Also enjoyed some family stories and some of their traveling adventures. My dog Marley loved his freedom off leash. He also loves cats and he tried so very hard to make friends Chloe. I think in the end he won, he got pretty close I believe the cats knew he meant them no harm. They hung around him keeping their distance but curious. The cats are very friendly when introduced to people. I enjoyed learning a lot about the landscape and trees in the yard seeing some for the first time. Everything was so green and just beautiful. We were surrounded by nature in the middle of a little sweet town. It was peaceful and relaxing. She even gave me a couple of plant sprouts. Near by: There’s a little clean laundromat (The Wash Tub) a couple of blocks away. A great town park (Slocomb Centennial Park) for exercise 4-laps is a mile. A Senior Center in the parking area of the park. Very friendly town. I look forward to coming back for another visit! 5⭐️ on my list! Thank you for having us. Lindy and Marley☀️

A little off the beaten trail in a small town but worth a visit. Unfortunately the weather was wet but this spot gave us a safe place to be when severe weather hit close by. Great communication and directions. Susan and David greeted us and we had a chat before we settled in. Because we were very tall we were able to easily back in from the street behind. We plan to return again when heading south. Hopefully we will see this home decorated for Christmas. Thank you Susan and David for such a welcoming stay.

This couple is absolutely fantastic and I really enjoyed Susan's intro to the grounds. I had a sway bar pop off my trailer and she came and met me where I was down the street, making sure I was okay. It's hard for me to describe what an amazing time I had and I'm extremely thankful for it. Definitely an awesome spot in lower Alabama and the house is absolutely stunning. Thank you for the stay folks!

This family, this home and this property are fantastic. We could not ask for anything more. Dave and Susan were super accomidating meeting us in the rain, guiding us as we parked in the dark, and offering some super friendly southern hospitality. This is the first HH BDW site that we both slept completely though the night undisturbed in our comfortable, safe and quiet surroundings.
