My home is located on a quiet tree filled street in suburban Libertyville. Quiet treed and shaded backyard with large concrete patio and picnic table available for your shared enjoyment. Have firewood? Enjoy the use of my fire pit. Suggested Local Attractions:Enjoy Libertyville and Vernon Hills restaurants. And within 30 min by car, Chicago Botanic Gardens. Or take the train from the Libertyville train station to downtown Chicago and Chicago's Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, Field Museum or Natural History or Museum of Science and Technology, Lincoln Park Zoo or Brookfield Zoo.

Access Road Conditions: I have a single car concrete flat driveway at a suburban home that your vehicle and mine will need to share though cars can also be parked on the street. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: I have only a long single car driveway. There is room for my car or the tow vehicle car on the driveway or on the street. My driveway is very flat but a narrow single car driveway. Longer than 25ft and you won't be able to turn into the driveway.

Future RVer in Libertyville Details: Betsy is a full time accountant dreaming of soon becoming an RVer herself together with her boyfriend, Steve. Betsy is a multifaceted person: chemical engineer, school board member, quilter, extensive traveler of the US and some world travel. Currently, we are tent campers and have camped in several national and state parks. Home Town: now Libertyville, IL but previously St. Peter, MN and Minneapolis. Betsy and Steve went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, complete with inviting us to the community fireworks show that was happening the evening of our stay! We found the parking as described - level and private from neighbors. We had a great time discussing our van build, and traveling in general, and left feeling like we'd made new friends!

Our host gave us a quick response and had good communication. They are located near the Libertyville Metra train station, so it was easy to take the train into downtown Chicago for the day. We appreciated sharing a meal and conversation with them. Happy to have new travel buddies who we hope to see again somewhere down the road!

This was an unexpected, great stop on our cross-country trip. Our host was not only communicative but very welcoming- even came out to greet us and offer us treats! If we hadn’t needed to leave, it would have been hard not to stay

Betsy and Steve are awesome! We enjoyed home made brownies, trip to a beer fest as well as great conversations, park referrals and a lovely going away BBQ. What a blessing!
