Betsy and Steve went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, complete with inviting us to the community fireworks show that was happening the evening of our stay! We found the parking as described - level and private from neighbors. We had a great time discussing our van build, and traveling in general, and left feeling like we'd made new friends!

Our host gave us a quick response and had good communication. They are located near the Libertyville Metra train station, so it was easy to take the train into downtown Chicago for the day. We appreciated sharing a meal and conversation with them. Happy to have new travel buddies who we hope to see again somewhere down the road!

This was an unexpected, great stop on our cross-country trip. Our host was not only communicative but very welcoming- even came out to greet us and offer us treats! If we hadn’t needed to leave, it would have been hard not to stay

Betsy and Steve are awesome! We enjoyed home made brownies, trip to a beer fest as well as great conversations, park referrals and a lovely going away BBQ. What a blessing!
