We are about 2 mi from the intersection of Hwy 132 and Hwy 421 in Wilmington, which is also the intersection of College Rd and Carolina Beach Rd. This is called Monkey Junction by the locals. We have a long concrete driveway, sort of circular and sort of S shaped. Very close to level. You may or may not have room to extend slides depending on your rig. There are trees on both sides of the drive. You will need at least a 50 ft. extension cord to reach the electrical outlet until we get a new one installed in a better location. You are welcome to hook up to our water but be advised that most people are not fond of our very beachy-tasting water. You would probably need nearly 100 ft of hose to hook up but could get closer just to fill tanks before leaving. Suggested Local Attractions:We are halfway between Wrightsville Beach and Carolina beach, less than 10 mi. to either one. Lots of restaurants nearby but who knows what is open in these Covid days. Wal Mart, Medac, Home Depot, grocery stores, fast food, etc. all within about 3 miles. Wilmington has the Battleship North Carolina, museums, historic area downtown, lots of beaches. Not far away is civil war site Fort Fisher.

House Rules
We are new at this so here is our best guess for now: Mostly just the usual good manners every RVer knows. We are fairly close to neighbors on both sides. No smoking, no drugs Keep children close and safe, we have boats and stuff they may find attractive and don't want them to get hurt Keep pets close and safe on a leash and clean up after them Prefer no generators but if needed, use between 9AM and dark No loud kids, music, pets, tools, etc in early AM or at night We need to help you get in and get parked If you need to leave real early please let us know the night before
Location
Access Road Conditions: We are at the end of a paved residential street which ends and becomes gravel for 50 ft then comes straight in to our concrete driveway. After your stay you can either turn around and drive out, or back out, or pull straight through. If you pull through you will have to go through a few hundred feet of dirt/gravel road that may have puddles if weather has been wet. The area is very level. If you are over about 9 ft tall you may hit some small low hanging branches; not large ones that could do damage but something to watch out for. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Usually will be able to park a tow vehicle in front of or behind the RV. If not we have plenty of other room.

Big chill dwellers Details: We are both engineers by training, semi-retired, long time boaters and fairly new RVers. Not yet sure what we want to be when we grow up. No rush. Home Town: Wilmington, NC and Shelby NC, one from each. Skills or Expertise to Share: We have done a lot of electrical, mechanical, etc. work on boats, RVs, etc. I've got an electrical background so electrical advice is free and worth what you pay for it. Know a good bit about solar systems, generators, wiring, etc.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The hosts were so nice and welcoming and they made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival. They have a large pull through driveway so had no problems with setting up and when it was time to leave we could just pack up and drive through. Very convenient. The spot was level and felt safe and quiet. Depending on where you park you may need at least a 50ft extension cord. This place is very nicely located, close to Wilmington. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, highly recommended.

We couldn't have nicer hosts or accomodations! We were able to park our 25' motorhome without leveling, which was nice after a long day of travel. Lee and Mimi were quick to introduce themselves and show us where the electric and water was located. Our hosts gave us the D.L. on local hot spots and nightlife and were so pleasant we hated leaving, but we're confident we will see them again.

The home owners were very accomadating and kind. The set-up was delightful, the hook-up exactly as described, and a gorgeous place to stay the night.
