Retired husband and wife itching to travel our great country Details: I am a Ford Motor retiree and live with my wife in Northeastern NC close to the Outer Banks. I am pretty handy with light maintenance things. I enjoy boating, motorcycle riding and golf. My wife loves to hike, bike and travel. We love to volunteer and are exploring the idea of work camping in the near future. Love meeting friends we haven't met yet through Boondocker's Welcome and have made many forever friends through hosting and " guesting ". Home Town: We live in a small town in Northeastern NC near the Va/NC line. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Love the western part of our country as so many places to boondock. Took 2 month long trips to Canada, one to Banff and Jasper and the other to the Atlantic Provinces in 2017. Glacier was heaven on earth. We love boondocking with friends we haven't met yet. Enjoy hosting as well. Prince Edward Island was a joy to boondock in. Southern Utah is one of our favorite places to explore. Skills or Expertise to Share: Retired tool repairman with Ford Motor Co.I play a bit of guitar and golf too. I am handy with small repair jobs. Wife enjoys planning our adventures and cleaning with Norwex as she is a consultant and the products really go well with the camping life.

John and Leigh couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating! Lovely quiet neighborhood and a great place for an enjoyable stop on the road, with everything you could need - 30A electric, wifi, water, pet-friendly, and lots of helpful tips for my onward journey. Thanks!

We had a nice, level, quiet parking spot with the use of the fenced yard for our dog. Our hosts where very kind and great to talk with about travels. They provided wonderful information about the area and things to do. I'm glad we made a stop here on our way to the outer banks. Thanks again!
