We have 1 rv pad with 50 amp power & water in front of the rv garage. You must pull beyond the pad and back in for best results. There is another space directly across from this spot, next to the carport, with 50 amp & water but will only accommodate a small rig like a class B camper van size. Another space between the pump house and storage container with 110 power & water. There is space beside the house that can accommodate a big rig with toad and has 110 & water. We request a reasonable donation for the use of electric or sewer dump. You must arrive before dark. We don't have lighted areas and parking in the dark is forbidden. If you decide you want to stay longer, we have a full hookups space with 50amp, water and sewer that can be rented daily/weekly/monthly. Suggested Local Attractions:Pahrump is called the gateway to Death Valley by some. Its about an hour +/- to Furnace Creek from here. We have the obligatory casinos and a few decent restaurants. Ash meadows is a short drive from here, its nice. Spring Mountain race course. Watch the corvettes run. Mountain Falls Golf course, I hear that can be fun.

Access Road Conditions: Paved road until you get to Kelishan street and then you have about 200 feet of gravel to get to our rear driveway. Be careful making the right turn into the property. Swing wide left before turning right into drive in order to clear the fence rails on either side. Also heads up when going between the rv garage on your left and the carport on your right. The driveway continues around the house and exits back on to Simkins Rd. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We have 2 1/2 acres with several places to park,

Our sense of humor can be off putting to grumpy campers Details: We moved to the SW from the NW. Our combined years living in Alaska was apx 60. We've been out of the icebox and into the frying pan since 2004 and pretty much loving it...except in the summer. Our latest plan is to head north sometime around mayish and back south sometime around octoberish.I'm semi-retired and Melinda is fully tired. We like meeting new and unusual people and vise-versa. We've traveled the Alaska Hiway by motorhome, C-class & A-class & Pickup/camper, just pickup, and on our Harley 3 times. If your planning a trip to Alaska we can encourage you and suggest some don't miss places. Melinda taught at The University of Alaska In the Physical Education/Aquatics for several years and was a successful chef and hosted a PBS tv show called "Hooked on Seafood". I've gold mined in the Ak interior and I can tell you those guys on that Gold Fever tv show make it look easy. Home Town: Pahrump Nevada Favorite Boondocking Locations: Most anywhere thats not a city. We haven't done much boondocking, although we've been rving for about 20yrs. Did 6 years in a Toy Hauler (with our Harley) as full timers. We've done the Walmart a couple times and the occasional rest area and of course broke down beside the road waiting for a tow truck. Skills or Expertise to Share: I'm kind of handy and Melindas' a good conversationalist with lots of great stories to share.

Despite needing to help her husband Jim recover from a serious illness, Melinda was a superbly kind and generous host. She also had some very helpful info for us. Hoping to return and get to know them both.

We had a seamless stay. Melinda was very accommodating and explained to detail how to park even though she wasn’t home when we got there. It was a quiet night with beautiful views to wake up to. We hope to visit again!

Can't say enough good things about this Boondockers Welcome Host. The most accommodating and gracious hosts we have encountered. Location is 1 hour from Vegas and 1 hour from Death Valley. Easy access and level parking for our 35 foot fifth wheel. Melinda, the homemade cookies were a wonderful treat. Thank you so much. We hope to see you again.

We had an enjoyable stay and it worked out well for us to visit Death Valley from Bunny Farm (an hours drive away). Jim and Melinda were great to talk to and gave us some good travel tips from their travels. We had no issues with access, good parking spot, quiet evenings. We will definitely stay again.

We ended up staying 7 nights and had a very pleasant stay to ride out the cold temperatures that set in and to take in Death Valley over 2 days. Hosts Jim and Melinda were awesome. Excellent communication. Great site for large rigs and loads of space for our 37 ft motorhome and 21 ft trailer. Thanks again for the muffins Melinda! Met up with some fellow full time rvers from Ontario, CA and enjoyed their company. Definitely consider this spot if you're planning a trip to Death Valley and a side trip to Las Vegas. Hopefully we'll meet up again Jim and Melinda. Your hospitality was most appreciated!
