Burr Oak, KS is a small rural town. On my property you can park but there is no hook ups. If you NEED hookups because it's hot and you want to run the AC, then you can park at the town RV park which has FULL hookups for $7.00 a night. That's not a misprint. However, I do have a lot of shade, no matter how big your rig is. There is NO ONE living at the property I have for parking and the neighbors are quite distant. You can park behind the house for maximum privacy OR park on the circular driveway for maximum convenience. Suggested Local Attractions:This is a hunting and fishing mecca but there is a lot more, just ask when you get here or research on the net for whatever you find interesting to see. OR just drop an email.

Rural by choice, avid table tennis and pickleball player, dog lover! Details: Just a single person trying to make the most of life in the time I have left. Home Town: Phoenix, Arizona and I winter there. I grew up there so its ALWAYS going to be my home town, but I live permanently in Burr Oak, KS and that won't change until the day I die. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Anywhere where I can get a good nights sleep without being disturbed. Picturesque setting, beautiful scenery is merely icing on the cake. Plenty of options on where to park your rig. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with. The location was perfect and very easy to access. We enjoyed our stay.

Guy met me at the edge of town, and explained my options. it was pretty hot, so he showed me the town park where there are two full hook up sites, then showed me the space that is an old abandoned home with huge yard and nice trees. I chose the trees and peaceful surroundings. I had basically no cell service, but that was fine for one night! The breeze was cool overnight, and it was a pleasant stay! Thank you!
