Our location is a quiet rural road in the Northern Adirondacks. From our driveway we are 28 miles to the nearest Canadian border crossing, 36 miles to Saranac Lake and 74 miles to a northern route into Vermont or another border crossing into Canada. We are developing a butterfly habitat as part of an effort to encourage the monarch population. Nearby are the trailheads for Azure and Pinnacle mountains, as well is the Santa Clara canoe access for the St. Regis River. Feel free to visit our registered Little Free Library at the end of the driveway.

Details: Susanne & I are in our early 70"s. We travel with a16' Bambi Airstream used mostly for boondocking as we explore NY, surrounding states and Canada in order to hike, canoe, attend music and craft venues. We are always happy to get on the road and meet new folks. Home Town: St. Regis Falls, NY was historically a lumbering community, still is to some extent. It is a friendly, beautiful area situated on the St. Regis River. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Most frequented, Adirondack Mountains. Skills or Expertise to Share: Retired educator and Susanne is a fabric handweaver.

We enjoyed a peaceful layover with Richard and Suzanne. We would have enjoyed a longer visit, as they were gracious hosts, offering to walk or hike with us. Access was easy with a turnaround in the upper driveway. We had no Verizon or T Mobile, so plan accordingly. We hope to stop by again when we have more time to visit.
